The St. Dymphna Chaplet is a beautiful prayer dedicated to those who suffer from mental illness, including anxiety, depression, and epilepsy. This Irish Saint lived in the seventh century and was eventually martyred for the faith by her father.
This chaplet traditionally uses three colors:
Red to honor her martyrdom
White to honor her virginity
Green to pray for those with mental illness
The chaplet is composed of 17 beads: 15 to honor her 15 years of life and 2 beads to pray for the Holy Father's intentions
